About us

Quantum Source is on a mission to make quantum computing a practical reality. Our novel architecture, designed around chip-based photon-atom gates, provides a clear path to the most powerful fault-tolerant quantum computer.

Our unique technology enables deterministic generation of photons and entangling gates, removing major roadblocks such as scalability, complexity and cost-efficiency.

Backed by two decades of research from the Weizmann Institute of Science, and built on recent breakthroughs in photonic technologies, we started our journey in 2021 with $27 million in seed funding from top tier investors.

Today, our team comprises 44 multidisciplinary experts, including 6 Professors and 24 employees with PhDs or postdoctoral research experience from leading universities worldwide. Committed to out-of-the-box thinking, our team finds creative solutions to long-standing technological and scientific challenges, paving the path toward practical and affordable quantum computers accessible to a wide array of audiences.
